My previous career as a Surgical Technologist gave me a foundation of dedication and detail that now defines my metalsmithing. In the operating room, success was all about absolute focus and dependability. I love that I get to bring that exact same carefulness and dedication to the bench now, where my focus is fully on my art. Just like a surgeon has to trust my precision with instruments, I want my students to trust my guidance in the studio!

My Teaching Journey

I'm totally self-taught—I've been on this incredible metalsmithing journey for three years now! Because I've navigated the learning curve myself, I teach beginner classes to students of all ages with tons of patience. I absolutely love proving that YES, you can make a beautiful, lasting piece of jewelry, even if you think it looks hard!
